This firm is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Trainee to support its Investment Advisory and Institutional Sales team. This role offers hands on exposure to capital markets, client advisory, and institutional relationship management.

Location of the Role

This role is for both for Lagos and Abuja.

Key Responsibilities for CardinalStone Partners Investment Advisory

• Advise clients on investment portfolios as well as provide personalized investment strategies and build long-term relationships to help clients achieve their financial goals.
• Sell the firm's products and proffering alternative investments and products within the group in a bid to increase Assets under Management (AUM), while also driving the customer acquisition objective of the company.
• Consistently manage and nurture existing client relationships to facilitate repeat business and retention through our end-to-end financial services.
• Grow ‘new-to-firm’ business by actively prospecting through new and existing client relationships
• Follow market trends, stock movements, and suggest alternative business strategies to address changing market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities for CardinalStone Partners Institutional Sales

You will serve as a Sales & Client Executive for the Securities trading business focused on Institutional clients which includes Insurance companies, asset managers without stockbroking affiliates, PFAs, Corporate, and Fintech companies.

In this capacity, you will be primarily responsible for growing our business through new client acquisition as well as a component of managing and expanding existing client relationships. You will have direct client coverage responsibilities and also work with senior sales executives to support strategic opportunities.

Requirements for CardinalStone Partners Graduate Trainee Role

• 1–2 years’ experience in sales and advisory functions
•  Bachelor’s degree (minimum of 2:1) in a numerical or business-related discipline
• Completed NYSC; not older than 26 years
• Strong interest in financial markets and sales
• Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills
• CIS certification, Master’s degree, or Bloomberg experience is an advantage
