This is a Graduate intern role, responsible for providing support to the Nigeria Finance team. Primary areas of support are government reporting, planning and management reporting, internal controls, tax advisory and treasury activities.
Roles of Finance Interns at ExxonMobil
- Perform data analysis
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Assist with partner / government reporting and performance stewardship
- Analyze variances and support internal controls and compliance processes
- Support tax reporting and compliance activities, including data gathering and documentation
- Assist with government and partner audits
- Assist with tax audits and filings
- Interface with relationship banks, review Pension Fund Administrator reports, benefit plans financial statements and performance reports
Eligibility Criteria for ExxonMobil Finance Internship
To be considered for the ExxonMobil Finance Internship Nigeria 2026, you have to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields with a minimum of Second Class Upper
- Completed Compulsory NYSC not earlier than 2023

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to learn
