Applications are now open for the 2026 National Girls in ICT Competition. This is part of the Federal Government’s commitment to closing the gender gap in ICT.

The National Girls in ICT Programme is a team-based initiative empowering girls aged 10–16 (JS1–SS3) to develop innovative technology solutions addressing challenges in Agriculture, Education, or Health.

Selected teams will participate in structured training and mentorship sessions to build digital skills and confidence.

Please note:

• Applications must be submitted as a team of 2–3 girls.
• School approval and parent/guardian consent are required. 
• Only one submission per team is allowed. 
• Ensure all information provided is accurate and complete.
