KADPOLY Postpones Resumption of Academic Activities Indefinitely


The management of Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) has postponed the resumption of academic activities on the 18th of January, 2021 indefinitely, following a directive from the Kaduna State Government.

The directive which was signed by the Commissioner of Education, Kaduna State indicated that the polytechnic's plan to reopen for the resumption of academic activities violated the Kaduna State Government’s directive for the closure of all Public and Private Schools and Tertiary Institutions in the state due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state.

The directive from the Kaduna State Government is as follows;

In response, the Dean of Student Affairs, Mal Farouq N. Musa, officially announced that the January 18 resumption date has been suspended indefinitely. The notice released by Mal. Farouq N. Musa on behalf of the institution’s management notice is as follows;

I am sober that I'll start by apologising to teeming Students of the institution on above subject matter.

I regret to notify you that the resumption date is hereby declared to be indefinite following the intervention of Kaduna State Ministry of Education.

A new date shall be communicated as soon as the ministry decides.
