The Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) is recruiting multiple positions at Bonny Island in Rivers State. The current openings are for:

i. Shift Operator (PO/2026/001)

ii. Operations Supervisor (PO/2026/002)

iii. Shift Principal Operator (PO/2026/003)

Basic Requirement for NLNG Vacancies 

HND in Chemical, Instrumentation & Control, Petroleum/Gas, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Civil, Structural, Environmental, Marine, Metallurgical, Materials or Software Engineering (minimum Upper Credit), plus relevant LNG operations experience.

1. Shift Operator

Job Reference: PO/2026/001

Location: Bonny Island, Rivers State

Roles of Shift Operator at NLNG

• Carry out daily plant operations safely and efficiently.  
• Monitor operational conditions and support sustained production.  
• Maintain compliance with safety and operating procedures.

Minimum Requirements  

• HND in a relevant engineering discipline.  
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in LNG operations.  
• Knowledge of LNG processes and plant operating areas.

Required Qualification: 

Minimum Upper Credit.

2. Operations Supervisor

Job Reference: PO/2026/002

Location: Bonny Island, Rivers State

Roles of Operations Supervisor at NLNG

• Lead and supervise plant operations.  
• Ensure safe, efficient and reliable plant performance.  
• Manage operational risks, emergencies and production continuity.  
• Drive compliance with operating procedures and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements  

• HND in a relevant engineering discipline.  
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in LNG operations, including at least 3 years in plant operations.  
• Evidence of acquisition of 12 Assessment & Progression (A&P) Skill Blocks.

Required Qualification: 

Minimum Upper Credit.

3. Shift Principal Operator 

Job Reference: PO/2026/003

Location: Bonny Island, Rivers State

Roles of Shift Principal Operator at NLNG

• Execute safe and efficient plant operations.  
• Monitor plant conditions and support production targets.  
• Maintain operational discipline and critical safety controls.  
• Deputise for the Area Supervisor when designated.
