BUK Faculty of Law Notice on Resumption of Lectures and Compliance with COVID-19 Protocols

The Faculty of Law, Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has released a notice to all students on the resumption of academic activities and compliance with COVID-19 protocols. The notice reads;

Following the adjustment of the University Calendar by the University Senate and the directive on resumption of academic activities beginning 18th January, 2021, the Faculty of Law urges all students to adhere strictly to the COVID1-9 Safety Protocols: Mandatory use of FACE MASK, WASHING OF HANDS, and SOCIAL DISTANCING

Students are equally urged to cooperate with the authorities by complying with other relevant guidelines issued or to be issued by relevant Government agencies, the University, Faculty and Departments to ensure successful conducts of lectures and examinations.


The use of FACE MASK is mandatory and shall be strictly enforced. Those not wearing FACE MASKS shall be denied access to all classrooms, lecturer’s offices, students’ office/gatherings, Library and other Faculty and departmental offices or facilities.

The time earlier spend for the first semester before the lock down and the strike continues for completing the Semester. Any adjustment will be communicated to you as appropriate.
