This prestigious initiative by Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/Agip Energy and Natural Resources Joint Venture, aims to empower youths in the Niger Delta region with skills, mentorship, and funding to launch and grow sustainable businesses. 

Programme Overview

The NNPC/Renaissance JV Enterprise Development Programme is designed to equip young entrepreneurs with essential business planning and management capabilities. It provides structured entrepreneurship training, start-up grant support, access to third-party funding, and volunteer mentorship to help participants establish and scale their businesses successfully.

Business Skills Development: Training through the Successful Business Owner Course.Start-Up Grant Support: Funding for the most outstanding and viable business plans.Access to Third-Party Funding: Opportunity to pitch to financial institutions, NGOs, and other stakeholders.Volunteer Mentorship: Guidance from experienced professionals to support business growth.

Eligibility Criteria for NNPC/Renaissance JV Enterprise Development Programme

To qualify for the NNPC/Renaissance JV Enterprise Development Programme 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.State of Origin: Must be indigenes of Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, or Edo State.Educational Qualification: Hold an HND or University Degree.NYSC Status: Must have completed the NYSC programme (where applicable).Employment Status: Must not be engaged in paid employment.Business Idea: Possess an innovative and viable business idea.Entrepreneurial Interest: Genuine desire to own and manage a business.Business Experience: Must have operated a business for no more than three (3) years.Previous Participation: Must not have benefited from the Renaissance Enterprise Development Programme (formerly NNPC-SPDC JV LiveWIRE), community skills training, agricultural programmes, or similar initiatives.
