Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the 2026 technical skills aquisition of the Nigerian Breweries PLC in collaboration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA).

PREAMBLE 

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), in collaboration with Nigerian Breweries Plc, invite applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake an intensive Twelve (12) - month Technical Skills Training Programme in the following areas:

  1. Mechatronics – Packaging Operations
  2. Mechatronics - Brewing and Utilities Operations
  3. Mechatronics - Corrective Maintenance
  4. Operational Quality
  5. Logistics Operations

THE PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

This programme aims at training and equipping youths with entrepreneurial skills in the above trade areas and promoting public-private Sector Model in Vocational / Technical Skills Training.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAMME

The programme is entirely non-residential, with training at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigerian Breweries Plc located in Ibadan and attachment in any of our Brewery Locations in Lagos, Aba, Ibadan, Enugu, Ota, Ijebu Ode and Kaduna.  Admitted candidates will enjoy free tuition fee, Lunch, Stipend to offset transportation cost and Free Medicals.

This programme does not confer Nigerian Breweries employee status on the trainees.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Applicants are required to possess the following qualifications, among others:

  • Credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry 
  • Higher National Diploma in any of the following (For Mechatronics – Packaging, Brewing & Utilities Operations and Corrective Maintenance): Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Physics, Instrument Engineering or Computer Engineering, with a minimum of Lower credit from recognized and accredited institutions. 
  • Higher National Diploma in any of the following (For Quality and Logistics Operations): Chemical Engineering, Biological and Physical Sciences, Food Science Tech, Laboratory Science, Applied Physics, Computer Science, with a minimum of Lower credit from recognized and accredited institutions. 
  • Must have completed NYSC as of the time of this advertisement.
  • Must have completed the AI Fluency Course on International Organization of Employers (IOE) Learning Platform-  https://learn.ioe-emp.org/courses/ai-fluency-en/

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for a test and will be expected to bring along the following:

  • 2 Passport size photographs
  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Educational Qualification Certificate(s)
  • Certificate of AI Fluency
