Job Description of Software Engineering Intern - NYSC at Norrenberger Financial Group
- Support the development and maintenance of backend APIs (primarily using Node.js)
- Contribute to frontend development using React when needed
- Help identify and fix bugs, and improve existing features
- Write clean, readable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with engineers on new features and enhancements
- Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback
- Assist with testing, debugging, and documentation of systems and APIs

Core Requirements
- You will be expected to have an above-average understanding of JavaScript and/or Python
- Familiarity with either Node.js or React (even at a basic level)
- A working understanding of how REST APIs function
- Basic experience using Git or any version control system
