About Beacon Power Services Graduate Trainee Programme

The BPS Graduate Training Program is a 12-month structured development initiative aimed at nurturing our next generation of talent. As a Graduate Trainee, you will rotate across two business functions, spending six months in each, and gain hands-on experience in how BPS operates.

At the end of the program, top-performing participants will be offered permanent roles within BPS. We are committed to identifying and developing high-potential individuals, those with the right mindset and attitude, and growing them into key contributors within our team.

Roles and Responsibilities of Graduate Trainees at Beacon Power Services

The day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on assigned department or business function and the nature of the team’s work. Throughout the program, trainees will be expected to:

• Deliver assigned operational tasks on time and to standard 
• Support research, analysis, reporting, and documentation 
• Attend and actively participate in meetings and training sessions 
• Take on more responsibility over time and own your work 
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic 
• Ask for feedback and act on it 
• Work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment

Eligibility Criteria 

• Graduates who have already completed their National Youth Service (NYSC) and are under 26 years old
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Relevant degree disciplines include:

1. Computer Science / IT
2. Data Science
3. Business Administration
4. Finance / Accounting
5. Human Resources / Organizational Psychology
6. Electrical Engineering
7. Communications / Multimedia / Marketing
8. ESG / Sustainability

• Curious, proactive, and willing to learn beyond your area of study 
• Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment 
• Communicates clearly and professionally, both written and verbally

Nice to Have

• Demonstrated interest in energy, utilities, or technology (through projects, internships, or activities) 
• Any prior experience (internship, volunteer work, or short-term roles) 
• Basic familiarity with data tools, coding, or analytical software 
• Fluency in French
