Best Graduating Student Gets Tuber Of Yam, Live Chicken As Reward

Best Somadina Nwabuwa, the Best Graduating Student of the Department of Mass Communication, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly Anambra State University, has been celebrated for his exceptional performance in his department.
Nwabuwa was given award by an online news platform, MassMediang to celebrate his achievement.

He was given an undisclosed sum of money, a live chicken and
yam tuber by the news platform, an organisation known for celebrating
excellence in communication education using agricultural products.
The presentation was made today, at the Francis Oladele stand, at the Igbariam campus of the institution.
In his reaction, Nwabuwa thanked massmediang for the honour, adding that it was not about the cash or agricultural products but the recognition which is an encouragement to younger students.
Also speaking, one of the coordinators of the award, Chuks Obi, said the idea was to remind graduates that no matter the course you studied, you should have an eye on agriculture because it is a fruitful venture that would keep you independent and prosperous.
