The Intern Role at Ventures Platform (VP Kickstarter)
In this role, you will help build and manage a deal pipeline, identify and secure potential investment opportunities, analyze companies and business plans, conduct financial modelling, and perform due diligence. You will collaborate with the team and external partners to execute investments and support the Senior Management Team across the full fund lifecycle — from fundraising and deal sourcing to post-investment monitoring.
Core Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing: Identify and research potential investment opportunities by tracking industry trends, startups, and emerging technologies.
Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive due diligence, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, financial modeling, and risk evaluation.
Portfolio Support: Work with portfolio companies on market research, strategy development, and operational improvements.
Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis to inform investment decisions and spot opportunities.
Data Analysis: Evaluate financial statements, market data, and other information for investment prospects.
Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, record-keeping, and preparing presentation materials.
Selection Criteria / Eligibility
- Exceptional recent graduates or Master’s degree holders with a strong academic record.
- Experienced professionals looking to transition into venture capital are welcome.
- Demonstrated interest in Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship, Startups, and Technology.
- Strong analytical, research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
