The successful candidate will support transaction execution, financial analysis, market research, portfolio monitoring, and preparation of investment materials while gaining hands-on exposure through structured learning and mentorship.
Key Roles of Investment Analyst Graduate Trainee at Sahel Capital
The role of a Investment Analyst Graduate Trainee of Sahel Capital:
- Preparation of investment appraisal documents for our private equity and private debt funds
- Conduct market, industry, and company research related to investment opportunities in targeted West African markets.
- Support value creation initiatives at Sahel Capital portfolio companies.
- Prepare PowerPoint and Word reports summarizing research, analyses, and investment recommendations
- Support senior management on other Sahel Capital initiatives as appropriate.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria of Investment Analyst
- NYSC completion is mandatory.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- CFA Level I passed or currently progressing toward the CFA qualification is preferred.
