ABSU Post-UTME / DE Screening Announced for 2023/2024 Session

Abia State University, ABSU Post-UTME Screening exercise for the 2023/2024 session has been announced. Cut-off mark is 140. See details below.

All candidates who selected Abia State University (ABSU) as their First or Second choice, those who intend to change to ABSU as their First choice and those who did not use ABSU as their choice at all but want to be admitted into the University, who scored up to the University cut-off of 140 and above in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), are hereby invited to register for Aptitude Test exercise. All Direct Entry candidates are also invited for the Aptitude Test.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates Qualified for the Screening Exercise

1. Candidates who chose Abia State University as their 1st Choice, 2nd Choice and those who did not choose the University at all in the UTME, but want to change to Abia State University.

2. Candidates who scored 140 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

3. Candidates who possess the basic five o'level credit passes, in accordance with the University entry requirements.

4. All Direct Entry candidates.

How to Apply ABSU Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening

Procedure for Registration for the Screening Exercise (a) Candidates are expected to register for the screening exercise online by logging into www.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng and making e- payment of two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only, in any of the following Banks:

ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu

✓ Zenith Bank Plc

✓ Fidelity Bank Plc

✓ Union Bank Plc

✓UBA Plc

✔ Payment via bank debit cards

(b) Candidates who do not register for the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

(c) Further details about the screening exercise can be obtained online at www.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng.

Please note, that venue for all the screening exercises, including Law and Agriculture, will be at the main campus, Uturu, commencing at 10.00am, each day.
