The Federal University, Otuoke (FUOtuoke) is a government’s owned university located in the Ijaw town of Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. This institution is still considered as a new institution which was among the nine new federal universities established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in February 2011.

FUOtuoke has an early aspiration to promote world-class and cutting-edge research in Energy and Environmental Science, Engineering and Technology, Marine Science, Human and Social Dynamic, as well as Business and Entrepreneurial Studies.
