FG Launches Creative Leap Acceleration Program (CLAP), 2025 | How to Apply

The Federal Government, through its Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy has launched the Creative Leap Acceleration Program (CLAP) and is also inviting applications from suitably qualified Nigerians.

Before we talk about the eligibility requirements and mode of applications, let's learn more about the CLAP initiative. 

About the Creative Leap Acceleration Program (CLAP)

Through the Fashion Academy Abuja, the Creative Leap Acceleration Program (CLAP) aims to bridge skill gaps and empower the next generation of fashion innovators with technical expertise and business acumen.

This initiative is a strategic effort to strengthen Nigeria’s fashion value chain by offering practical, industry-focused training to early-stage fashion entrepreneurs.

The Federal Government CLAP Program will be rolled out in two phases, from September to October 2025, and March 2026, with continuous monitoring and feedback conducted in collaboration between the Ministry and The Fashion Academy Abuja.

Eligibility for CLAP

To be considered for the Federal Government CLAP Program, you must:

• Hold a minimum of an O-Level certificate
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge in the tailoring or fashion business
• Provide evidence of an existing fashion business or portfolio
• Show a clear commitment to growth and professional development
