The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has announced the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 2 for Nigerian Youths. This article contains all you need to know about NDE's RHEI programme.

The Federal Government, through the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), has officially opened the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 2 registration portal.

This initiative is designed to empower unemployed Nigerian youth with free vocational and digital skills training, monthly stipends, startup kits, and access to low-interest business support.

Who Can Apply for NDE RHEI Programme?


  1. Nigerian citizens between 18–45 years old
  2. Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
  3. Must reside in any of the 36 states or FCT
  4. No educational qualification is too low everyone is encouraged to register

How to Apply for NDE RHEI Phase 2

1. Visit https://nderegistrationportal.ng to commence your application. Create an account on the portal

2. Kindly input your NIN to start the identity verification process

3. Fill in your personal details and other information

4. Select your prefered programme, scheme and skill - set

5. Submit your application, retain your registration number, download the acknowledgement slip, and await further notification

6. Update your state of origin to your state of residence if both are not the same, as verified by NIMCr

The registration closes on August 11, 2025.
