The Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy (FMCIDE) has launched the National Girls in ICT Competition - an initiative that seeks to transform the ICT landscape in Nigeria by creating a platform for girls in Secondary schools to showcase their skils, creativity, and innovation in various ICT-related domains.

The competition aims to encourage female participation in the ICT sector and empower them to become leaders in this dynamic field. It also aims to bridge the gender gap in the industry and create equal opportunities for girls to participate and excel.
