BASU Resumption Date Following Suspension of ASUU Strike

Bauchi State University, Gadau (BASU) resumption date has been announced following the suspension of the industrial action of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). See the resumption date below.

This is to inform all staff and students and members of the general public that the senate of the Bauchi State University (BASU) at its 40th regular meeting held on Thursday 20th, October, 2022 directed that academic activities resume on Monday 24th, October 2022 in the University.

Consequently, students are to be informed that hostels will be opened on Sunday 23rd October, 2022.

The University wishes all students a safe return to the university and a successful 2nd semester.
