Authorities of the Kaduna State University (KASU) has released a disclaimer notice on the renaming of the institution circulating on social media. The notice reads;

The Management of Kaduna State University (KASU) wishes to notify the general public that the news of the renaming of the University from Kaduna State University (KASU) to Magajin Garin Zazzau Sambo University is "FAKE NEWS". 

The public is hereby urged to disregard the information as it is the handiwork of mischief-makers. Any information will be communicated by the Management
