Kadpoly Examination Officers Forum Cancels All Exams Conducted During Strike Action

Following the strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP), Kaduna Polytechnic Chapter, the Kaduna Polytechnic Examination Officers met on Wednesday, 6^th September, 2017 to discuss the update of the strike action and the upcoming examinations.

Amongst the decisions reached at the meeting includes cancellation of all examinations conducted during the period of the strike – as in the case of CBMS, where it was reported that over 250 students wrote an examination with only one invigilator and likewise in other colleges.

Also the board also stated that no examination should be conducted until the strike is called off in accordance with article 3.01 – 3.04 of the Constitution and Code of Conduct of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) (as amended November, 2015) and Sections 6.01 (b), 10.01 (a), (c), (d) and (e); 10.02 (d) of the Bye-Laws for ASUP Kaduna Polytechnic Chapter.
