About the PLAC 2026 Legislative Internship
PLAC, with support from the European Union (EU), is offering a 10-week full-time internship programme.
The internship aims to equip participants with hands-on knowledge of how the legislature works while promoting good governance and citizens’ access to the legislative process.

Eligibility Criteria for PLAC 2026 Legislative Internship Program
To apply for the PLAC 2026 Legislative Internship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be between 21 and 35 years of age
- Have at least a first degree in any discipline from a recognized tertiary institution
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme
- Possess good English writing and speaking skills
- Have good computer skills
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Persons with Disability (PWD) and eligible applicants from all parts of Nigeria are strongly encouraged to apply.

Note: Interns are responsible for their own accommodation and relocation costs. PLAC will not provide housing or cover relocation expenses.

Application Requirements for PLAC 2026 Legislative Internship Program
Prepare the following carefully before applying:
- An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Microsoft Word or PDF formatSave the CV with your full name
- Include your State of origin, date of birth, and NYSC service details (place of service)
- Maximum of 2 pages
- A Statement of Purpose (maximum 300 words) explaining why you want to participate in the internship
- This should be included on the last page of your CV
- The combined CV + Statement of Purpose must not exceed 3 pages
- You will also need to copy and paste the Statement of Purpose into the online application form.
